Don Cunningham worked for Veterans Affairs for thirty-five years, retiring in 1995. Don decided to put his interest and photos of Halifax tram cars to paper. He has been involved in restoring antique cars, motorcycles, and furniture as well as collecting photos and history of Halifax for as long as he can remember. He lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Don Artz worked for the Halifax Transit Corporation (later Metro Transit), where he became chief inspector. His life-long love of Halifax's tram cars led him to begin research for this book. Don lives in Enfield, Nova Scotia.
